A Ken-Caryl Kidney Convo
Come Curious. Leave Inspired.
Chris & Vicki Sullivan and Brian & Jennifer Tiell are longtime Ken-Caryl friends who raised their kids here. Each has also done something most of us never consider: donated a kidney to a stranger.
Of the roughly 342.6 million people in the United States, only 300 to 400 donate a kidney to a stranger each year. Four of those rare donors live right here in Ken-Caryl.
On Colorado Gives Day, Tuesday, December 8, the four will host A Kidney Convo in the Shaffer Room, upstairs at the Ranch House, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free evening is presented by Next Step Next One, the nonprofit they started to inspire living kidney donation.
"We've been richly blessed to live in Ken-Caryl and raise our children here," said Brian Tiell, executive director. "Giving back is about looking at the people around you and asking what you can do for them. That's what being a neighbor means to us."
